The Bachelor Guy Interviews "Korn"

Sunday 06 June 2010 - 20:42:34

Last month, you had the chance to submit your questions to "The Bachelor Guy" to ask Korn in an interview. The interview is now up! The article doesn't specify exactly which member(s) answered these, but a lot of the questions were sent by you KornCentral ians!

A few weeks ago, I flew to NYC with Jagermeister to interview KoRn and check out their concert at Roseland. I asked you if you had any questions you wanted them to answer during the interview, and you guys came up with far better ones than I could have. (Thanks. You're all hired.)

Well the day of the concert the video interview turned into no video allowed, just an audio interview with pics. Then that became no pics. Then it was no interview at all, you're just going to meet the band, but submit your questions and we'll answer them via email.

No problem. The guys were so great and fun to hang out with during the meet and greet, it didn't matter. They assured me your questions would get answered. And true to their promise, here they are. [Oh, and Tammy (@Maggoteater), your tattoo question got overlooked, so I'm going to get that answered and Tweet it to you.]

From zzz:

How you think how your music will be evolve in next 10 years?

Who knows. We’ll have to see where the next 10 years take us. Right now, we’re going back to our roots and we’re excited about the direction of our music now.

From Nate Leon:

Korn was featured in The Notorious B.I.G's Duets: The Final Chapter. How or when did Jonathan Davis/Korn collaborate with Biggie? Or if it wasn’t a collaboration how did the song come to be?

Diddy called up and asked if we wanted to do it. We were like, hell yeah!!!

From Both Mary and Jason B:

Will JD ever play guitar on stage?

He plays bagpipes, and can play many instruments, but we have two guitarists usually... so, he doesn’t need to.

From Brad:

In the history of your long musical career, what has been the hardest time for the band?

Jonathan almost died onstage at a festival back in 2005 from an unknown, rare disease. That was really scary. He’s since gotten medical treatment for it, and is doing great now.

Yes!! He asked my question!! (AYD stands for AyellowDay, my other screen name.)

From AYD:
What makes you feel the most connected to your audience during a live show?

Seeing the crowd react when we play our songs. Man, it’s the best thing in the world. You have an intense connection at that moment to all those people, and it’s impossible not to get an adrenaline rush.

My question was answered about Biggie. I was always curious to know how that song came to be. Awesome song.
